T his technology is a serious alternative to conventional indigo denim production. The process itself is most ‘eco-friendly’ with no waste dyestuff, minimal water consumption, no harmful chemicals. The mechanical effect of industrial washing alone is sufficient to obtain faded color shades; there is no longer a need to apply harmful chemicals to garments. Alkali or acidic mediums do not cause clearly visible shade differences and there is no ‘cross staining’ where different colors are combined within a garment.
